Everything in Excel, 80 appraisals scanned manually
Three years ago, SV.CO’s entire HR administration was run using Excel and Word. Contracts were signed in person, which meant HR had to travel to the various sites. End-of-year appraisals – eighty in total – were scanned and processed manually. The monthly SDF statements were consistently behind schedule, and staff were unable to view their leave balances independently. With nine sites and a growing workforce, it became clear that this was unsustainable.

Why did SV.CO choose HoorayHR?
SV.CO came into contact with HoorayHR through a colleague. After a trial period, the decision was quickly made. Other HR software was too complex and too expensive for their situation; SV.CO was looking for a user-friendly system that could go live quickly and grow alongside the organisation. Another factor was that HoorayHR actively collaborates with clients and develops the platform based on user feedback.
With HoorayHR, we finally have all our companies in a single platform. We can filter by company, but everything is in one place.
Five locations, one overview
With HoorayHR, SV.CO manages all HR processes from a single system. Contracts are signed digitally, and there is no longer any need to travel to the five locations. Onboarding workflows ensure that tasks are automatically assigned to the right staff members. The SDF integration automatically processes leave, absence and overtime calculations. Managers now proactively manage leave uptake, which has significantly reduced the end-of-year peak. The result: 40 to 50 per cent less manual work for the HR team.
