How KüchenWelt gained more overview and streamlined HR processes with HoorayHR
Jitske van Eldik handles financial administration and HR at KüchenWelt. We spoke to her about how HR work that used to be scattered and manual now runs centrally and clearly with HoorayHR, and how the switch was smoothly arranged within a few days.
About KüchenWelt
KüchenWelt is a kitchen company with a showroom in Heerhugowaard, operating with multiple BVs within the organization. The company has around 50 to 60 employees. Jitske handles the financial administration and HR tasks, and Ronald, owner of KüchenWelt, is involved in the HR conversations.
The challenge: scattered data and manual work
Before KüchenWelt worked with HoorayHR, documents were stored in different places. There was no central location for contracts and personnel data, and clear workflows or approval processes were missing. As a result, HR had to actively follow up with colleagues themselves.
Expense claims also came in through separate emails with receipts, which created a lot of manual work. And with multiple BVs within the organization, working meant repeatedly logging in and out per entity, without any overall overview.
“The overview really makes the biggest difference. Where we used to search a lot and do things manually, HoorayHR now makes it much faster and clearer for everyone.”
The switch to HoorayHR
KüchenWelt discovered HoorayHR at the Visma trade fair in 2025. The stand staff were enthusiastic, and the modern look stood out right away compared to what KüchenWelt had been using until then. A demo confirmed the impression: both sides were positive.
Onboarding went smoothly. KüchenWelt still uses Nmbrs for payslips, but runs entirely on HoorayHR for all other HR processes.
From separate emails to automated expense claims
Expense claims used to come in through separate emails with receipts. With HoorayHR, this now runs through a fixed flow, with approval from department heads. Travel expenses are also streamlined, and contracts are signed digitally, which saves time on scheduling.
Documents are also much more organized: contracts are easy to find and the search function works well. Colleagues find information themselves more quickly, which means HR gets fewer questions.
Everything in one place, across multiple BVs too
With KüchenWelt’s previous HR tool, Jitske had to log in and out per BV. With HoorayHR, she manages all BVs from a single login, with a full overview.
KüchenWelt now actively uses contracts, expense claims, leave requests, and the dashboard showing birthdays and sick days. Within 1 to 2 months, workflows and the hours module with a clocking system will follow. Performance and development conversation templates are already in place and will be rolled out further later on.
In short
For KüchenWelt, HoorayHR mainly means overview: no more scattered documents, no more separate emails for expense claims, and all BVs managed from a single login. Jitske sums up the main benefits:
- Documents centralized and easy to find via the search function
- Expense claims automated with approval from department heads
- Travel expenses streamlined and contracts signed digitally
- One login for all BVs, no more separate environments needed
- Fewer questions from colleagues, more clarity for everyone
