Not only does it look better, it also comes with a couple new functionalities. In this blog we\u2019ll explain what\u2019s changed!<\/strong><\/p>\n<h2>Why a new design?<\/h2>\n<p>For employees, the profile page forms the centre of the application. This is the place where employees take care of their own HR affairs and where managers find an overview of their employees. We got all different types of feedback and ideas from clients recently. This inspired us and made us improve the design.<\/p>\n<p>The new design also allows for other plans we have to improve the navigational structure of the application. This is still in development, but you\u2019ll see and hear more from this in the coming months.<\/p>\n<h2>New header<\/h2>\n<p>To start off with, you\u2019ll find a new header in the profile. It directly shows the colleague\u2019s information: their state of employment, their roles within the company and team(s) they\u2019re in. You can also view your colleague\u2019s status here, and also directly change it if needed. It\u2019s much easier to invite or archive a colleague.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-9875\" style=\"margin: 0\" src=\"https:\/\/www.hoorayhr.io\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/4\/2023\/10\/blog-profile-en-1.gif\" alt=\"\" width=\"1600\" height=\"329\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Since we like the new header so much, it\u2019s a fixed element on every page! \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n<h2>A better overview<\/h2>\n<p>We also tackled the overview page considerably so it suits the dashboard better now. You\u2019ll find all relevant information about your colleagues (your role determines which employee data you are allowed to view) and you\u2019ll be better assisted in entering any missing data.<\/p>\n<p>The \u201cUpcoming weeks\u201d widget is a new addition as well. Here you\u2019ll find an overview of all upcoming events for employees. Is someone having a day off, ill, celebrating their birthday, about to leave the company or celebrating their work anniversary? You\u2019ll easily spot it from this place. It also shows the current day\u2019s work location of employees.<\/p>\n<h2>Switch between profiles easily<\/h2>\n<p>Administrators and team leaders now have an unfoldable menu to their disposal to navigate between their employees\u2019 profiles at lightning speed.
