We have made a number of improvements to the leave module in HoorayHR. Based on customer feedback, we have explored how leave management can be made clearer, more flexible and easier to track in practice.

This has led to a number of updates that better support leave processes.

Reminders for expiring leave

It is now possible to send reminders when leave is about to expire. This prevents leave from going unused and ensures that employees are kept informed of their balance in good time.

Absence adjustments during illness

In the event of illness, leave may need to be processed differently. With this update, the leave budget is automatically adjusted where necessary.

Parental leave and public holidays

For parental leave, leave taken on public holidays is now correctly deducted from the budget. This ensures more consistent processing of leave.

Block leave requests with a negative budget

A new setting allows you to prevent employees from requesting leave that exceeds their available budget. Team leaders and administrators can still override this if necessary.
